This quilt measures 40 X 52 and was taken from a pattern featured in McCall's Quilting. The top was pieced and then each square was cut and individually long arm quilted to the top in a colorful arrangement. Each fabric was chosen to coordinate with this quilt. I used a rainbow thread on the top which I tried to show in picture 4. I used a glitter rainbow fabric on the back of each square, which I tried to show in picture 5. Picture 5 also shows a print in the quilt top that I used as a coordinating print on the back. You can see the binding is a bright pink fabric that I machine sewed to the quilt and it is also used within the quilt to tie everything together. The batting is a cotton/poly blend to increase warmth and reduce shrinkage! I did not wash it to start the fraying process as someone may prefer to use it as a colorful wall hanging. This quilt is a masterpiece of color and a very fun blanket for your special little girl.
