This table runner measures 18X42. I love paisley fabrics! This runner features a collection of paisley and floral coordinating fabrics. Many of them also have gold metallic details to accent them. I love to collect metallic fabrics too and this collection just jumped out at me! I tried to feature a few of each fabric in a large enough size so that you can really see the paisley and floral details in each block. The inner border is a tonal gold to give a good separation of color between the blocks and the outer border. The outer border is a large floral that is also featured in the center blocks. The binding around the outside is a pink that is featured in the center blocks as well. The pink ties in around the outside as the border and I also used it as the backing. I long arm quilted this piece using a paisley and floral swirl pattern to add some texture to the busy blocks. I used a light pink thread. The batting in the middle is Hobbs 80/20 which is 80% cotton and 20% polyester for heirloom quality. The binding was done by machine for strength and durability.
